This refund policy is in pursuance of the online dispute resolution framework set out under by SEBI vide Circular Ref No. SEBI/HO/OIAE/OIAE_IAD-1/P/CIR/2023/131 dated 31 July, 2023 (“SEBI ODR Circular”).
As per this circular as well as the agreement signed between CORD and the respective MII institutions, refunds would be provided in very specific matters dealing with resolutions of investor disputes in the securities market through conciliation and arbitration.
In relation to the above, it is requested that the parties may go through the following points:
- In the instance where the parties wish to withdraw from arbitration before the arbitrator has been appointed then the fee shall be refunded after deducting the applicable expenses not exceeding Rs. 100/ – (Rupees One hundred).
- No withdrawal or refund process is permitted once the arbitrator has been appointed.
- Refunds will only be initiated in case multiple payments are made for the same process.
Notwithstanding this policy, any specific terms and conditions mentioned on any SEBI circular which is released in this regard will override the terms and conditions mentioned here.
For matters outside the scope of the SEBI circular dated, 31st July 2023, no refund will be provided except where specifically approved by the Registrar.
